Our story

We met one another back in 2001 when I (Kimball) was roped into going on a weeklong Christian retreat in Myrtle Beach.

Little did I know that the direction of my life would be radically shifted that week in more ways than one. Christine and I became close friends throughout high school, and then, against all conceivable odds, she agreed to date me!

We were married in 2006, and since that time we’ve been in full-time Christian ministry. Our foundational commitment and strongest passion in life is for Jesus Christ. In 2013 we were blessed with our first child, and now we have three beautiful girls that do everything with us! We also write and perform music together — you can hear our tunes at kimballandchristine.com.

Somehow along the way we started this real estate side-hustle. We’ve been renovating dilapidated houses now since 2011. For us, renovating homes has been an outlet for vision and creativity. As musicians, we’ve produced a number of albums over the years, and we’ve found that the process of renovating a home is extraordinarily similar. You start with this rough creativity that comes out at all at once. And then you spend months tuning and tweaking. You bring in skilled craftsmen to do what you cannot do yourself. And in the end you have a piece of art. Something that causes people to connect and reflect on what matters most.

This is what we hope The Cliffs is for you. The real art is found in the creation that surrounds the home. Its uniqueness and beauty took our breath away when we stumbled onto this property for the first time. Our goal was to take an old lodge that needed a lot of love and create something that compliments the incredible surroundings. Through that process, our family has come to love this place and create countless special memories on its grounds. Our sincere desire is that you and your loved ones can do the same!
