Sandstone Falls is our newest natural water feature. This is a dream project for us and we’re so thrilled to share it with guests at The Cliffs! Sandstone Falls is not a pool treated with chemicals or salt. It is so much better! Think of the falls as a recreational pond with crystal clear water cleaned and filtered through a natural, biological filtration process including plants. It is a living ecosystem contained mostly by the natural sandstone. This is a completely unique feature that could never have happened without the extraordinary terrain designed just for this!

Sandstone Falls is adjacent to our 2-BR Bungalows and surrounded by an expansive deck, rock faces, and our new panoramic sauna with an incredible view. Although adjacent to the bungalows we’ve taken care to protect the privacy and seclusion of bungalow guests.

Sandstone Falls will technically be open for swimming May 1 - October 31. However water temperatures may be ice-bath cold in May and October. 2023 is our first season and we’ll still be learning what is possible. Although not swimmable the area is gorgeous in the winter, so please consider booking our more affordable winter dates.

Sitting above the falls is the newly constructed Lookout. The Lookout is an 800 square foot common building with restroom facilities where bungalow guests can take a break from the sun. It is also a great space for guests who have rented all of our bungalows to congregate for a meal. Sandstone Falls and The Lookout are available for all bungalow guests during their stay. At the current time three 2-bedroom bungalows are available, however there are plans to add additional bungalows in the coming years that will have access to these features as well.
